Donna Knight is a Consultant with over twenty (20) years of accounting experience. She is a member of AICPA where in 2019, she received a certification in Not-for-Profit Accounting. She specializes in all facets of non-profit accounting and has worked with multiple membership based associations, private foundations, human and social service organizations with budgets ranging from $50k - $45m annually.
Servicing non-profit entities with donor funding involves a higher level of accountability and often requires annual independent audits of financial statements, whereby her work is closely reviewed. This has afforded her not only the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best in the public accounting industry, but to gain invaluable experience in the application of GAAP and in establishing policies & procedures to ensure internal controls and best practices are followed.
